1946 Dated British Army Clasp Knife.

It would appear this example has had little use but is suffering from some slight rust bleed. Blade has a good amount of its factory buffing grain. The can/tin opener has clear makers details and date. Main spring is very tight, back shackle made from steel. Both bexoid grips are in fine condition.

Condition is used but not abused. All metal fittings have turned dark with patina. The blade has had some sharpening in the past, i cannot find and makers details. So this set is well used and has a number of repairs, snags and stains etc but would rather this scarce pair of 50 pattern trousers go to a collector rather than the rag trade as they are still displayable and would fit perfectly with any Korea or Malaya set up. Ministry of Defence 70th Anniversary Chiang Kai Shek Victory Over Japan Medal.

One of 6000 produced around 2015 to celebrate the victory of Japan, Second Sino-Japanese War. Medal could be applied for by any surviving service members who fought in the conflict. Condition is very nice and comes with its ribbon bar.  read more

The 1944 dated and makers marked blade has had light sharpening but relatively clean with minor staining, same goes for the tine opener. Spring is tight. Shackle is steel. This example has suffered from some shrinkage to both Bexoid grips, pity but interesting none the less and a Makers mark i have not seen before.

In nice used condition with the blade having light sharpening to the cutting edge and dark staining, bottom of the blade has a clear date stamp, if maker on the other side then some cleaning will be need to find.
