In very nice condition with fine undamaged wooden grips, blade has a eagle stamp 5 to the top under the crossguard, minor sharpening to one side. The steel scabbard retains nearly all its factory finish, both side prongs are without damage. read more

In very nice condition with no damage to the stag slab grips, some minor loss of finish to the pommel area, back and top button. Scarce Quist Factory Produced Steel Helmet , M42.
Forget about the paint job and decal, what we have here is a M42 combat shell produced by the firm Quist. Shell is solid with no dents, filling or rust pitting. I belive there might well be a good amount of its factory finish underneath the camo and clear marking to the rear of the shell, ''Q64''. read more
Letters And Medal From RAF Sergeant P.D.H.Mcgovern Killed Over France 1940.
Mcgovern was tragically killed in June 1940 when his Blenheim was lost over France in 1940, one of six Blenheims lots that night due to bad weather. 12 Hurricanes and 12 Blenheims were being ferried to reinforce the besieged Island of Malta when all ran into very bad conditions. Mcgovern and the other two crew members are buried at the Charroux communial cemetary.
