Boxed WW2 RAF KIA Medals. Newport S.Wales.

These medals relating to a R.C.FOXALL recently surfaced from a local house clearance in the Newport area. Even though the medal slip has an error in the name, a letter "A" in the surname rather than"O", the box than goodness has the full details as expected when sending out the box to surviving relatives, most probably his mother. Medals have not been mounted etc as should be with KIA examples....  read more

British MK4 "Turtle" Steel Helmet with Camo Net and Skrim. 1979..

A very nice condition postwar MK4 helmet with a super sloppy hand brushed rough green finish with its period net with added Skrim. The inside, 1979, dated sock liner is in nice, lightly used condition as is the chinstrap. Perfect candidate for any Falklands display!  read more

Heer Soldbuch. Motorised Infantry, Driver. Stomach Battalion.

Complete book with photo of the owner stapled to the front. It would appear this soldier was a part of Komp-replacement Battalion 6, with dogtag number 4730 surrendering 15/1/44 @and discharged 26/2/45 as part of the 276th infantry division. This book was issued in 1944 so I have no previous military info on this soldier. What I can gather is his many stomach problems most probably chronic gast...  read more
