British P-1853 Socket Bayonet.
A good condition bayonet with nice dark patina over some of its original blueing with the blade stained and just one are of pitting to the top of the blade and a minor area along one side. The top of the blade has a faint WD inspection stamp , there are some faint letters stamped under the WD mark but they cannot be made out. The socket has a working locking ring.

In very nice condition with the two part tight frame having taken on a very dark finish from patina. The iron center has all its factory finish. Comes with a good length of period ribbon. read more
