Named WW2 British Wolseley Pattern Pith Helmet.
Helmet is in used condition with some sweat marks and use. The body is solid with a slight crush to the top. Khaki puggeree is complete with no evidence of a formation patch sewn to the side. The inside leather sweatband is complete and in good order with a clear Hobson and Sons makers mark. U.S. WW1 1917 Remington Bayonet.
In very nice condition with the blade having the majority of its factory finish with minimal staining. Both sides have clear markings. Hilt again with all factory finish and no pitting, top button functional. Both wooded grips are near perfect with a couple of faint knocks. A nice used Tropenhelm made by the firm Clemens Wagner and sized 58. The body is solid and the material has certain marks from use. KS98 Extrawaffen Bayonet. WKC. Long Pattern.
The blade has nearly all its factory finish, lets say 97%, intact, with just the slightest staining mainly near the tip. Clear makers details for the firm W.K.C. The hilt has just over 90% of its finish but with some lifting mainly to the eagle beak and press stud, press stud is the free type. WW2 German Reichsbahn Visor.
In very nice condition with bright color and a solid body. Good nap to to the material , one or two moth nips to the red waffenfarbe. The inside is complete and clean with a solid leather sweatband.
I've brought this one back up to the front and reduced the price as it deserves a new owner folks! read more
