WW1 French M15 Adrian Helmet.
When i purchased this M15 in a box of others i didnt realize the shell had been repainted until closer examination, not sure when but has some patina. WW1 Bavarian Buckle and 1915 Dated Leather Belt.
The buckle is an early brass construction example thats turned dark brown from years of patina, rear has its catch and fixing prongs. The leather belt is supple and has the usual restitching found on well used examples. It has a very clear stamp under the tongue with a 1915 date. Belt measures around 39 inches in length. WW2 Named French Water Bottle and Carry Strap.
In very nice condition with the blue cover having no moth damage and good nap to the material. The original cork still attached by its period string to one side fixing bale. The bottom has a cloth label with the owners named stamped in blue, J.GOGUILLON. The leather strap is supple and placed over the bottle in a decorative manner perhaps postwar by the veteran. WW1 Prussian Buckle and Leather Belt.
The buckle is a late war steel example with some grey paint finish remaining. The back still has its catch and fixing prongs with some rust bleed. The raised dot to the front, right top seems to have been caused in the factory with welding the front catch. WW2 British Lamp with Broad Arrow Front Cover.
The lamp is in good used condition with the majority of its army green finish. The inside has its blue and red glass filter and oil lamp inside. These lamps turn up often but its the first time ive found an example with the removable metal ''broad Arrow'' plate to the front. read more
15th Scottish Division Formation Patch.
In very good condition, appears to be uniform removed. This mob landed in Normandy in 1944. read more
Third Pattern Commando Dagger. H.M.Slater.
Post War manufactured example by the Sheffield firm Slater. Blade has nearly all its factory finish and grain, period tip. The cross guard and handle again with the majority of its finish, cleat makers details to the top of the cross guard. Scabbard is complete supple condition with tight stitching. The quality is very nice and in my opinion better than Rodgers examples.
