This helmet started out with the middle war Army rough brown green finish as found on British Para helmets of the time, this finish can be seen intact to the inside with its supple 1941 dated liner and late war pattern chinstrap. The box is in nice condition with its front design bright and sharp with just some minor staining and edge knocks, back hinge complete. The inside has its clear details to the top, bottom has some stains. The medal has close to 100% of its period dark finish intact with one spot of rust just under the skeleton in the kiosk.  read more
