Belgium M49 Steel Helmet .1949/50. Hand Painted Side Insignia

Quite an early example with the liner system dated 1949/50. The finish to the shell is close to 100% complete with the side tricolor being hand painted rather than the usual decal come sticker. Liner is clean and supple but the central top pad has come adrift and stuck to the liner, fixing screw missing. Not a hard job to find a top screw post and resemble and as I mentioned nice to find the hand painted insignia.
