Early British Fire Brigade MK2 Helmet.

This red painted helmet with hand painted letters to the front is dated 1938 to both shell and liner. Outside paint I'd say is over 95% complete with the letters to the front the same. Letters have been pencilled using a stencil then hand painted. The inside shell is painted in an army type green with the owners name and number, again hand rendered. The early liner with donut top pad is dated 1938 as is the shell. Complete well used chinstrap with some distress. Overall a nice early example.
