WW1 RE Medal Trio and WW2 1940 Dunkirk Casualty, Suffolk Regiment.
The trio is made out to 40258 SPR. L.COTTON, RE. These medals are in nice condition with period ribbons except the star, thats a replacement. Found with this group where two WW2 medals and four named regimental sports awards made out to A.W.Tassart., Albert William Frederick Tassart was a sergeant in the 1st Bat Suffolk regiment who was killed in France in 1940 during the Allied retreat towards Dunkirk and having two medals as his only entitelment would make sense! Apparently Tassart was a brother in law too Cotton.
