Vintage British Police Heavy Wool Trousers.

I would say that these trousers are unissued but have suffered from storage and a couple of moth tracks, a little TLC with a brush will really help. As seen in the photos there are 3 stamps over each other inside with one clear 1959 with Queens Crown but the first underneath stamp has a Kings Crown and faint date, perhaps 1943 or 48, cannot be sure. Inside can be found the pocket sleeve to take the Police Truncheon.
The size im giving, using a tape, trousers laying flat is an approximate!
Top to bottom from front...45 inches
Along the top waist.....17 inches
Top of waist to crouch....16 inches.
I would hazard a guess at 33 waist.
