2nd Bn Monmouthshire Regiment Officers Side Cap. Newport Manufactured Cap.

This very nice, officers grade, side cap is in very nice condition indeed with one small moth nip to the back, other than that the material is clean inside and out. Both front buttons are the bronze officer type and to the side can be found a very nice condition Monmouthshire Regiment officers cap badge with 100% finish. Inside again in very nice condition with a tailors label for a local Newport manufacturer. Cap measures from front to back 10 inches. I may note that the cap previously had another badge, this is nothing surprising if the officer transferred to a local TA unit.
