WW2 German M42 Helmet Shell.

A good condition M42 steel helmet shell thats been used a number of times postwar with new paint and fake decals. The shell is solid with no cracks and no pitting. The inside even has its period factory finish and the remains of a clear dome stamp, didnt pick the stamp up very well in the photos but in hand its very clear. With the repaint covering the stamp details im not able to tell you the maker or size but comparing with my other lids its a size 64 for sure!
