1915 Dated German S 84/98 Bayonet. Erfurt.

A used example with the blade having bright finish and minimal staining, one side has the clear Erfurt stamp with logo, spine has an acceptance stamp over a date 15. The cross guard and pommel again with bright finish and minimal staining, pommel fixing button works and has a crown acceptance stamp as does the front of the guard. Both wooden grips have stained a dark brown with some bruising, the top flash guard having the usual knocks from use in a trench. The metal scabbard is complete, has one knock and a third of its length has taken on a very dark finish.
